During the Singleness

In her singleness, Kelley Asher was dealing with the effects of loneliness and the worlds view of marriage. When she had finally accomplished her goal of getting married, she realized it was still not enough. She knew that the emptiness that needed to be filled could only come from God and true contentment and acceptance of who she was by herself. The loneliness that once caused her so much pain, became the foundation to her realizing her true worth and value. She began to understand that God had given her everything she needed to be happy. She already had a family and the love of her daughters. She had the material things she needed and wanted. But the gentleness, forgiveness, and the intimacy, she would have to find a way to give to herself. She began to fill herself up with the Word of God. She knew this was the only way to have victory over the lies of the enemy about her singleness. She began to seek God on what HE wanted her to do. Kelley set out with a purpose, her purpose, that God revealed to her. Changing the lives of women one story at a time. This book is a composite of short stories both personal and imaginative, designed to resonate and identify with its readers. As the sequel to her first book After the Bed, Kelley hopes this book will also transform, inspire, and encourage her readers throughout their singleness season.
