You Believe In God But You Don't Trust Him Volume 2

- Overcoming The Crisis Of Doubt

Om You Believe In God But You Don't Trust Him Volume 2

Storms come to everyone and may generate Doubts. Doubts produce fright leading to a troubled heart condition. You believe in God but can you always trust Him when DOUBTS, FEAR, ANXIETY, UNBELIEF, etc., wrestle with your faith? What you encounter, see, and know of your world situation can affect your faith condition. But those who hear the word and practice it, those who continually build their house on the rock-solid word, and not on DOUBT, fear, anxiety, and unbelief will persistently be victorious and remain stronger. The Words of Christ are our rock-solid building blocks for our lasting faith (Matthew 7:24-27). Don't allow doubts, fear, anxiety, or disbelief to keep you in the blasting furnace of afflictions. Build your faith on the rock word of God. In Chapter 43:2 Isaiah declares "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you". Learn to stand against the wiles of Satan and come out with stronger faith, for a faith not tried in a furnace of circumstance can't stand or be trusted. Initial Doubts Of The Apostles. Why are you troubled? Why has doubt arisen in your heart Jesus asked His disciples. (Luke 24:38-39). The apostles were preoccupied with doubts and wondering if Jesus has risen. Cleopas and his colleagues had an encounter with the risen Lord on their way to Emmaus and as He broke bread their eyes were opened. They returned to Jerusalem and were told they had seen the risen Lord. As they pondered in fright, with troubled hearts Christ showed up in their midst. He asked His disciples why they were troubled. Why has doubt arisen in your hearts? (Luke 24:25-39). Miss judgment can lead to Doubt, fear, and anxiety and slow your work of faith down to a halt, making your faith ineffective, so you can't please God (Heh. 11:6). Once the missing information that caused doubt is discovered you can shout my Lord and my God like doubting Thomas did (John 20: 26-29 ). Doubt is a thief of your blessings and an enemy of your destiny. Doubt and worry are offensive to God and spiritually oppressive to His Children. You need to urgently break the backbone of DOUBT and UNBELIEF in your walk of faith on the narrow way into eternity. Until your faith is the same under all circumstances you will always need help. We all need help like the father whose son was possessed by a deaf and dumb spirit. Jesus said to him all things are possible to those who believe and trust in Him. Immediately the boy's father cried out in desperation, "I do believe; help my unbelief" (Mark 9). You can also cry out to Lord today, and do what is needed to enhance your mind and faith condition. Transforming it by the word/prayer/fasting and obedience to the Holy Spirit. Let us stop conforming to this world and its superficial values and customs. Let us become transformed and progressively change as we mature spiritually. How? By renewing our minds and focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes, we may prove for ourselves what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect in His plan and purpose for us and our family (Rom. 12:1-2).
