Wonders of Christmas

Christmas stories are always enjoyed during that special time of year. Yet, for this collection of fictional Christmas stories, The Wonders of Christmas by author Peggy Robinson, these Christmas tales also are reminders of the Bible's truths and hints of God's presence in our daily situations. The stories celebrate the traditions of Christmas, but also convey realistic stories of fiction with Christian precepts. For example, one story depicts a modern-day Christmas Carol of a meddling widow who finds fault with everyone until she experiences a vision of the Nativity. Another presents a father's lament of his missing son during a Kansas whiteout, not knowing the stranger he was talking to held important information for him. The author also shares her story of a skittish cat named Lovely Lady Lucy who only wanted someone to love her. The stories epitomize the belief that wonders of Christmas happen as we celebrate Jesus.
