Lara and Heather Marsh are twins and very close.
But when Heather comes home to Connecticut after a two year absence, she is changed. Now hostile, sullen, and tense, she is subject to strange "spells", and during one such trance she attempts to murder her sister. Lara is alarmed but keeps silent to protect Heather, who claims to be possessed by the spirit of their ancient ancestor, Victoria Marsh. Is Lara's twin sister a cold-blooded murderess?
