It examines faith, divine healing and the modern practice of medicine as it pertains to the Christian. The author carries the reader on a dramatic journey into hospital emergency and operating rooms along with his patients that were walking through the valley of the shadow of death. Joseph Darryl Amos is board certified in surgery and critical care medicine. He is the chairman of surgery and the trauma medical director of a level 1 trauma center. Dr. Amos is an avid student of the Bible and has been active in church ministry for 30 years.
