The author of the book Truth and Life is known as Melissa Leigh Chandler. Born in 1987, Melissa has lived her whole life in Moorpark, California. Her real talent and love for poetry became apparent in Middle School when she wrote a delicious poem entitled Hungry?. Melissa has gained her inspiration for her works of art through the beauty of nature, personal outlooks on life, as well as her deep relationship with Jesus Christ.
