Quiet Time Thank you Father for the early time, and a special place When all that I have on my mind, is to seek your face When it's just you and me, and I can hear your voice Because there is no distractions, that's reason to rejoice It's in these times I hear you, and your presence I can feel It's then I know that I know, that my God is real I can feel your arms around me, and I know you really care The way you make me feel, is impossible to share There I have no problems, and my troubles fade away Your voice is so much clearer, I hear just what you say My heart burns within me, I feel my spirit soar That's when I pray Lord, help me love you more I love this time together, when it's only you and me It helps me understand, how sweet eternity will be Yet you haven't called me, there must be things for me to do Yet how I long to enter eternity, forever to be with you For when this life is over, and I'm on the other shore I can be in your blessed presence, to stay forevermore But until that should happen, and you call me to come that way I pray that this special time with you, never slips away
