The Caregiver's Story

Does God allow us to go through difficult times so that we may grow?
Following her hospital dismissal, the seventy-nine year old mother accompanies her first-born daughter to her home in the city. She believes her stay will be until she can return to her own home in the country.
This story is about a family's struggle of caring for an aging parent suffering from Dementia. Facing many difficult challenges throughout my life, I grew stronger with each experience. Each one prepared me for my biggest challenge being a caregiver for my Dementia Mother.
My desire is that in the reading of my caregiver's story you will understand my survival of personal struggles. Perhaps by reading this book you will understand my world, and it will give you encouragement to survive your own.
