They are criticized, prosecuted, and even attacked by extremist religious, scientific, and political groups claiming that such 'abominations' should not be allowed to exist for fear that they may endanger humanity due to their brutal animalistic nature. Due to such views, all known Hybrids and all future hybrids were isolated the city of Furton which was created specifically for their kind. They were separated from any humans who wanted no part in their existence.
