Herbert West was born in a small town of Odell, Texas, near the Red River, but his journey took him many interesting places throughout his lifetime and continues even until now. He shares his humorous, touching experiences with you as you read the book. It begins with the eventful day of his birth and takes you throughout his life in Texas with some of his military experiences, as well as his adventures being first a radio repairman, Television technician, avionics, a pilot and instructor pilot.
