So Amazing

I said, "Mom, I'm just so sorry for hurting you." My words were kind, and I again tried to explain why I had done what I did. All of a sudden, buried tears deep inside my heart began to pour out.
Through my crying I said, "Mom, I love you so much. Do you know that?"
She responded quietly, "I have had my doubts, sometimes."
As the conversation continued, we both talked and listened to each other. It was one of those mother-daughter times we will both treasure for the rest of our lives. My mom hugged me, and I quickly hugged her right back.
A tremendous weight had lifted from my soul. We connected, we forgave, and we loved. God helped us both, and His love is so amazing!
In December of 2013, my heart was overflowing with joy, and I once again felt inspired to write. I was in prayer, and I asked God a question. "How can I show people that I have really changed?"
I felt God's answer, and it was pretty simple. "Just show them what you do every day."
