ʿĀshūrāʾ in the Thought of Imām Khamenei

This book is a collection of speeches in which the Leader of the Islamic Revolution His Eminence Im¿m Sayyid Ali Khamenei discussed an important aspect of 'Ash¿r¿¿, i.e. the lessons that may be drawn from it. The aim was to reach the pith of the matter and warn people about the resurgence of the diseases that struck Muslim society after the death of the Prophet (pbuh). Im¿m Khamenei is saying, for all to hear, that as long as there is truth and falsehood in every day and age, there will be a ¿usayn (a) and a Yaz¿d, so the umma must be prudent enough to make the right choice.
