The Sarum Rite of the Western Church developed at Salisbury Cathedral after the Norman conquest. By the time of the Reformation it had become the dominant form of liturgy throughout the British Isles. The three volumes of Sarum Vespers Latin presents all of the text, music, and rubrics for the observance of Vespers throughout the year.
