I really hate injustice... and Ryker Grayson.
Well, especially Mr. Grumpyson, because he is the personification of everything that is wrong with this world: Arrogant billionaire,
egomaniacal bosshole,
ruthless breaker-of-hearts,
and because the universe is an exceptionally cruel place, he's also undeservingly beautiful. Nonetheless, I still believe in Karma.
Sometimes she just needs a little help, which is where I come in:
When I see something, I don't say something. I do something. My mistake was that I did Ryker Grumbleson before I knew who he was...
and then I also might have gotten him arrested right after. (Although that could have been Karma, who knows!) In an attempt to retaliate, he tries to hire me as his personal PR consultant.
I begrundgingly accept because the money will allow me to save my 78-year-old friend and neighbour from getting evicted.
Now all I need to do is survive two looong and torturous weeks working under Ryker I aLwAyS gEt WhAt I wAnT Grayson.
WITH... I mean 'working with', definitely not 'under'. After all, I know better than to get involved with someone like him... again. A slowburn, laugh-out-loud, enemies-to-lovers RomCom standalone with some steamy sizzle between an alpha bosshole and a strong and sassy heroine who can't help but put themselves in close proximity of each other (although, that could be Karma too).
