Psychology of Judgment

In this book, the authors present current research in the study of the psychology of judgement. Topics discussed include the neuroanatomical basis and consequences for cognitive competence and risk-taking behaviours in adolescents; patients'' judgement of health risk when their personal time differs from their physicians'' time horizon; the theoretical and empirical commonalities of the theory of mind and moral judgement; and body image judgements with regard to self-esteem and eating disorders.
