1 John 2:13-14 makes reference to three levels of spiritual development - children, young men, and fathers. These three levels of growth are consecutive paths of development in righteous thinking and living. And even in between these three levels of development are many other smaller paths that gradually bring us from spiritual babes to full maturity in Christ.
