When Josef's wife of fifty years unexpectedly passes away, his plans for the future are thrown into disarray. His four grown-up children arrive to help him deal with the practicalities of death and where he goes from here. But it's not long before he's feeling smothered and is longing for an escape.
Eva was the adventurous one in their marriage and Josef is lost without her. As his children plan his future, Josef has a decision to make. Should he accept what he sees as the inevitability of old age or can he find a life after death?
