Baron Hopkins has been the senior pastor of St. James United Methodist Church in Westover, Maryland, since 2014. He has a Doctor of Ministry, Preaching, and Evangelism from St. Thomas Christian University. He has a Master of Divinity (M.Div.). He studied Religion/Religious Studies at Howard University (A.A.) and has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Behavioral Sciences from Wilmington University.He is also the proprietor of Salisbury Removal/ Baron Hopkins Sr. & Son Trucking, which is a licensed and bonded freight shipping and trucking company in Fruitland, Maryland. Dr. Hopkins is a chaplain (MAJ) in the Maryland National Guard.
