My Special Gifts

This book was brought to light because I felt the need to help children understand more about the gifts they may have and may not know how to deal with or even what they are. They need to know they are special and not strange or different. They need to know that everyone has these gifts but that not everyone is aware of them. They can learn not to be afraid and that they are indeed blessed. Too many times, children can shut down or not even want to be around people due to not understanding what is going on with the things they may see, hear, feel, or remember. Putting stories in book form, along with pictures, gives parents a way to connect with their children and then open up for conversation, thus taking away any fears or doubts. Learning more about themselves and their special gifts will help them reach their full potential toward their own spirituality and, at some point in their lives, be able to be there for someone else.
