My Name is Tod

Death, aka Tod, has grown callous. His siblings, the Archangels, decide it's time to do something about it. With their Father's permission they assign Tod Guardianship of a young mortal-but things don't go exactly as planned. Or do they? Dodging interference from his brother Lucifer who is determined to win Death's charge over to the dark side, Tod reluctantly bumbles through a mortal life learning to paddle, windsurf, hike, ski, and climb along the way. This rollicking tale takes the reader from the beaches of South Carolina, to Rome, and into the depths of the Grand Canyon. On the way it offers glimpses into what it means to live, to die, and to love.
