Many Mirages from My Own Thirst...

Poems from the ages of 36 to 39; written during and after my last relationship... it was a very dark time in my life. I just closed a beloved business and had moved several times picking up various traumas along the way. I thought I was about to get my life back on track... I was headed back to law school after a 5-year hiatus when I found another lump in my breast... then I heard my name on the radio... a song taunting me about Redemption... before the year was out I had lost my relationship and both of my breasts... but I only had one year left to finish law school or lose all my credits...it was literally do or die....
