Many people simply do not know what it means to live a Christian life. They live by a few memorized verses, sound-bites from favorite teachers, etc.; but they often cannot see the forest for the trees.
Therefore, they live in a quasi-spiritual manner, constantly shifting from one dimension (carnal or spiritual) to the other. As a result, they don't ever truly experience the fullness of God's blessings.
