Loving Mercy

Mercy O'Kelly is a single mom trying to raise her three boys the best she can after her husband passed. She works three jobs and attends school at night to land a career that has her home by dinner each night and not reeking of a dirt bar. Only sometimes her best still feels like failing.
When her boys come home from school with a free family four pack of tickets to the local hockey game Mercy does what any mother would; find a way to make the night work for her boys. It's there she meets Matthew Hayes, professional hockey player and six feet, four inches of sexy. Mercy knows games won't become a regular part of her kids lives, and neither will someone like Matthew. But when he offers up tickets to future games how can she say no?
Matthew's never wanted to get to know someone more than he wants to know Mercy. He'll do just about anything to become a regular part of her life. But, in the real world, the men aren't princes and they're certainly not perfect. Can Mercy forgive Matthew when he makes a fatal mistake in their growing relationship, or will she push him away to attempt to preserve her heart?
