Long Time Gone

This is the story of one family's trek from Syracuse, NY to California. It takes place during what what would come to be known as Westward Expansion. Many Americans ventured west during this time, in search of a better life. This story is told by 11 year old Cody Anderson with insights from his younger brother and sister. Follow along as they make their way across the country, facing many challenges and helping each other survive as a family.
