It All Starts Within
September 11, 1989...Four Days Before My 18th Birthday...I Was Being Sentenced To 30 Years In Prison For Knowing of a brutal murder. Two peers of mine, possessing the Same Charges as I, received probation and house arrest; another peer received 20 years In Prison For Being At the murder scene and the teen which took Thee Life was sentenced to 60 years In Prison.
This Journey is Not About Five Teens That "Conspired" To Take A Man's Life...Exaggerated With Ideas To fill-in the blanks Where Truth was Not Known.
I Recall- As Feel- Even Today Thee Moment Of Being arrested...Looking Into Thee Blood Filled Eyes Of My Mother...Reassuring Her..."Everything's Ok."
Beyond My crimes...Beyond a 30 year sentence...WithIn My Innocent Ignorance...I Knew I Had Cursed Thee Life Given Me WithIn Silence Too Long. I Had Spent A Great Part Of My Existence Praying For It To End...asking To Be Taken Away From It All.
I Had Offended Enough Thee Life...Love and Freedom WithIn- now- It Was To Be Taken. For 17 years I did Not Find a Reason...I could Not Embrace Purpose, Though I Believed...Something Mattered.
This Journey Is Of A Soul Walking Through Existence Into Thee Entrance Of Hell- WithIn As WithOut- but a Path Necessary To Endure So That Thee Mind May Know Life- Love- Freedom WithIn As WithOut.
