Jesus - God's Messiah

At one stage in his ministry, Jesus asked his disciples who they thought he was. Peter responded with this statement: "You are the Messiah (the Christ), the Son of the Living God."It was an important answer. However, what does it mean to be the Son of the Living God?In this book, the author examines the problems created by the orthodox beliefs that developed from the Nicene Creed. He suggests that the Jewish picture of the Messiah has been obscured by Hellenistic influences and prompts us to reconsider the life and mission of the Son of God.
