One year after a tragic accident took the life of her boyfriend, Sarah graduates high school with a single goal in mind: to escape the past that haunts her.
As Sarah sets out on a cross-country road trip, she is pleasantly surprised when her journey introduces her to Dorothy and Anna who welcome her to a home away from home on the northern coast of Washington. However, just as she starts to settle into her new life far away from the one she ran from, someone shows up to remind her of everything she left behind.
Torn between her past and her future, Sarah must find a way to overcome the grief and shame that has isolated her from the people she loves the most, but in doing so she'll have to reveal a painful secret she's kept hidden all this time.
