God desires to have intimate and regular communication with Man (Gen 3:8). But most people will say something like "I cannot hear God, therefore He is not speaking to me". Well, think about it this way. The fact that you cannot hear from a radio station does not mean the station is not transmitting the information.
God not only spoke to people in the past; He is speaking to men today; and He desires to speak to you clearly and regularly (Heb 1;1-2; Heb 3: 7). Today, God is not only speaking to prophets, pastors, bishops or apostles; He wants to speak to everyone ready and willing to hear him (Rev 2: 7, 11, 17). The question, therefore, is not whether or not God wants to speak to you. The question is if God is speaking:
What language does He speak?
What tools or methods does He use in speaking to us?
In which locations can you hear His voice?
How can you accurately distinguish His voice from other spiritual voices?
How can you accurately understand what God is saying to you? This book is written to provide scriptural and practical answers to all these questions and more.
