Walking in on my boyfriend with another woman is permanently etched in my brain. We lived and worked together, too. So now I have no home, no job, and nowhere to go.
With all of my friends having moved to Pine Cove, a small coastal town in Maine, I decide maybe hiding out there for a long weekend is just what I need. What I don't need is a new man.
But Tyler Taylor isn't a man easily ignored. As the town's most eligible firefighter, he's handsome, charming, and has the ability to make women fall at his feet with a single look and a flash of his dimples. He's a complication I don't need after the disaster of my ex, but he promises that if I give him just five minutes, he's sure to convince me he's just what I need. The perfect distraction. When my weekend away turns into longer, I find myself falling for the town, its people, and the man who's becoming much more than a simple distraction. I don't know if I'm ready for something more, though.
I don't know if I have it in me to trust again.
