Grateful to Serve

The purpose of this book is to provide a glimpse into the daily life of a Catholic priest who transitioned from being a pastor of a North Carolina parish to a missionary priest in the mountains of Honduras - at the age of 75.
A secondary purpose of this book is to add to the rich histories of the Parish of San Francisco de Asís in Reitoca, F.M., Honduras and the Catholic Archdiocese of Tegucigalpa.
This journal is a personal reflection of just one priest, so in no way should it be seen as the official position of other priests or the parishes in which the author has served.
Furthermore, I remind the reader that this journal is a one-year "snapshot" of my life. Hopefully, the person who wrote this in 2022 is not the same person who lives today.
