Roland M. Hess is a layman (just part o' the flock), not an experienced author, minister, or man of accomplishments that would draw attention-, or give credibility-, to this book, and considers that one of it's strongest virtues: this is not an opinion piece or work of the author's brilliance, but proof that scripture answers ALL the questions, plainly. They are available to anyone willing to read it, no arduous research by attested seminarians or other great intellects of principles beyond the understanding of the masses. Concerned with mis-portrayal and misunderstanding of Christian marriage in society, the author decided to "stop being one of the good men who allow evil to succeed by sitting by and doing nothing", Mr. Hess wrote this small book so that anyone may have a quick synopsis of relevent scriptures at hand when confronted with misconceptions of the relationship God used to tell everyone how much he loves us and how inimate he wanted everyone's relationship with Him to be.
