God's Gift to You

The Roman Catholic Church's Eucharist should be open to anyone, regardless of whether or not that person has been baptized, is sinful or follows another religion. That's because Jesus Christ invites everyone to his banquet.
But not all people feel the same as Fred Bert Ithurburn, a layperson who has written more than 200 letters to Pope Benedict XVI. He's still waiting for a response, but he isn't giving up on spreading the message of acceptance first brought to the world by Jesus.
Just think how different the world would be if the early church fathers understood and applied the New Covenant properly, assuring a continued Gift of Eucharist to everyone. Jews might have accepted the more inclusive religion as a continuation of their own, and Mohammed might have felt welcome at a table where he was equally loved. The Greek and Roman Catholics would find no dispute, and no crusade would have sacked Constantinople. And that would have just been the beginning.
