Fulfilling the Mission

Fulfilling the Mission will help pastors and congregations establish a balance when the pressures and confusions of the "winds of doctrines" blow around them as they minister. Apostles, such as Paul, warned the churches and the pastors of their time to "watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way ... By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people" because they did not preach Christ. Here, and with an abundance of biblical references, Dr. Hodgson has deposited this work in our hands so that-as expressed in the introduction-we can receive systematic direction via the Scriptures and for the proper fulfillment of the mission of the church following in the footsteps of the Master.
