"Doing the crime is easy; it's getting away with it that's hard." It starts with the murder of a low-level government witness that left no clues. And despite being surrounded by U. S. Marshals, FBI, ATF, and State and Local police, no one saw or heard anything. The police are stumped. A 'kindly' grandmother hires Private Detective Donald Farmer to find the killer of her grandson. But within days of taking the case, there are five more vengeful murders, again with no traces, clues, or witnesses. Farmer joins up with Police Chief Brad Foster, Police Captain Josh Billings, tech savvy Lisa Porter and infamous hacker Lawrence Gifford. The team searches for the pieces that will complete the puzzle. How does the killer get passed security? Maybe the assassin is invisible.
Many people believe that science is leading us in the wrong direction. Just how far should we go in developing self-driving cars or creating human-like robots? Elizabeth Preston and Sean Foster will come face to face with that conundrum when they first climb the hill at Seth's Pond. It starts with an inquiry to establish the construction date of a house supposedly built in 1564 and is the family home of the Bakers. The original family is still living there. Being 2024, that would put the house, and the Bakers, at four hundred and sixty years old. As the mystery expands, it draws in angry and frightened townspeople, the local police, the military, and ends with orders from the President of The United States. The answer lies with Dr. Donald Starr whose work may lead to a better world or the dystopian future many fear is coming.
Shawn Foster, formerly a lieutenant in the New York City Police Department, has decided to find a place for his growing family away from the crime scene in the big city. He read about a small-town police department in Pine Meadow, Vermont, which was looking for a new second-in-command. It was a town of about fifteen hundred people whose major crime spree involved kids toilet-papering a house. This could be a safe place for him and his family. Or so he thought! Dead bodies begin to pile up, his wife is kidnapped, there is a major national ring of 'death hunters', and the vigilante group 'People's Rangers' are not sure which side of the law they want to be on. It takes the FBI, CIA, AFT, and RCMP to help Foster close the case.
Alan Farmer, bus driver for the MBTA, deals with the public, his bosses, and the unknown as he drives his bus Route 17. His world is a challenging place where he is called upon to handle the usual and unusual of his job. Meet the 'Day Riders', a group of regulars who become like family, watch him handle management's demands, and see how Boston traffic throws up roadblocks even on a normal day. In the space of four weeks he will crash into a building (on purpose), answer wild questions from the public, and be responsible for taking high level politicians on a ride around Boston. Along the way he is chosen to be "Mr. On-Time" with his picture plastered around the city. His reputation and popularity gets him selected to represent the T in a bus rodeo. How would you handle the rollercoaster ride that is Alan's job?
Kathryn Susan Foster, photojournalist, is part of a magazine group heading to the South African savannah to expose poachers of elephant tusks and rhino horns. But underneath the facade of that noble cause lies deception and murder. Paul Arthur Farmer, a Boston P. D. cop on a police exchange to Africa, joins her in a search to uncover the persons responsible for the sabotage, and murders of two people. They combine their talents and form a private detective agency...Farmster Detective Group. While working on their case, a huge sum of money causes the eruption of an old family feud putting Kati on a collision course with Paul. Can they put aside years of hatred and unravel the plot behind the sabotage and murders?
Life is filled with second chances. The challenge is to recognize and act on them. Sometimes the opportunity is clearly there; sometimes it takes work to find it. That is where Bradley Farmer, American lawyer in a family of lawyers, finds himself after drinking his way up and down the East Coast. He once passed out in court giving his introductory statement. It seems like he is done forever. Enter Bishop, a government operative and willing to give him a second chance. But it is of the difficult kind, a trial being held overseas in a Russian court. With only Bishop and one of his agents, Alisa, Brad is sent off to do battle in a court where the guilty verdict is in before the trial starts. The Russian Secret Police (FSB) is looking over Brad's shoulder. In a delicate balancing act, he has to placate both the Russians and the Americans. Victory will free his friend but put many others in mortal jeopardy. The number of twists, turns, and double crosses will challenge you to keep up.

Is there only one true love, one soul mate, for everyone? Can you love someone and not be with them? Julie Foster faces those questions as she settles into her new position as Sergeant of the Orchard Park Police Department. Her choices: A.D.A. Roger Dunman and mechanic Gene Palmer. And just to make the task a bit more complicated there is Special Agent Mike Young and an ex-boyfriend Jack Manner. All this romantic whirlwind spins around the pressure of a determined, yet confused woman, trying to close down an international smuggling ring and topple a crime family who has unlimited resources and political power. And as always there are family and friends who have plenty of advice to help her make a choice. Put yourself in Julie's shoes; which choice would you make?
People are always curious about what life was like hundreds of years ago. This gave rise to time capsules which allowed a glimpse into the past. While these capsules are created by humans, nature also creates situations that would reveal the past. A lingering drought has uncovered items long buried under water. Jim Foster and Erin Walsh are walking the dry riverbed of Essex County to write the stories of what has been left behind over the years. Will they discover riches or rusted out hulks; every day brings new surprises.
The question everyone wants answered when it comes to space is simple: Who is out there? But a second question also must be answered: Are they friendly? We only know what the media has created in our minds. Aliens from space are conquerors and evil monsters who will destroy all life on earth. And as to the form of these aliens? They are either little green men or multi-tentacled beasts. It becomes the task of President Sheri Foster to assemble a team to meet with these "space travelers" and hopefully begin a time of peaceful cooperation.
