Fire In The Desert

Many of us may experience desert or wilderness seasons at some point in life, where God seems distant and we feel alone, confused, or don't know where we are going. There are various reasons for this and some may refer to it as the 'dark night of the soul'. Fire In The Desert highlights the reasons we may find ourselves in a spiritual desert and the various ways through. God never leaves us or deserts us. Instead, He waits for us to pursue Him. The desert is the perfect place for us to seek Him, hear His Spirit and encounter His Presence. The purpose of this book is to encourage you through the desert, so you may draw closer to the heart of God. It is a time to stop what you are doing, look into His eyes, engage in His presence and listen to Him. Instead of turning back, continue to press forward, as you let His Spirit lead you step by step of the way. God has amazing plans for you that are far bigger than you can imagine. We simply have to give Him our reins of control as we submit to the reign of His Spirit in our hearts. As we allow God to transform our hearts and minds, we can become one of His beautiful hand-carved vessels, through which the Father may display His fire and His glory. This journey is one to be embraced and enjoyed, until our hearts become a place of habitation for His Presence.
