Evangelical Mysticism

To be a Christian is not simply to assent to certain mental propositions, nor to perform certain actions. Being a Christian is an internal matter; it fundamentally changes the "inner man", the most basic, intimate part of the self. As Christians, our psychology and our moment to moment experience of life are to be radically different from that of unbelievers. Christ is not only the object of our faith, but he dwells in our hearts by faith.
