Day in the Life

I meet THE guy. I have a medical issue, and he is there to comfort me. We start a family and get married. We start to notice that the kids have a lot of medical issues. We start to wonder if this is normal. Do kids normally get sick so often? Nope. All 3 kids need glasses. Is this common to happen? Not typically. Finally, we discover that one child didn't grow or gain weight for a whole year. This is not normal. It's already tough these days being a mom of 3 kids without genetic or behavioral problems getting in the way. This is the personal journey of a family dealing with Noonan Syndrome and Autism. A story of parents who deal with special needs, medical, family, and school issues. A story of strength, determination, and joy. Embracing the little things while fearing the bigger issues. It's what my family has to deal with on a daily basis. This is a story to help any parent who feels they are not good enough, smart enough, fast enough, or strong enough know that they are not alone.
