Closer Devotional

Christians everywhere claim their daily pursuit is the application of biblical principles. However, simply learning Scripture doesn't always move to action in a Christian's life. With this in mind, pastor and author Louis W. Heard developed a plan for applying Scripture in his new yearlong devotional, Closer Devotional. This daily devotional is a discipleship tool he has written to assist Christ-followers in drawing closer to God and embodying the qualities of Christ. The devotional entries discuss several areas of communing with God, from praising God in trials to showing Christ's love to supporting the Church as God desires. Each daily entry consists of a specific "Closer Challenge" for readers to participate in. As each challenge is accomplished, the reader will experience closeness with God in a fresh way. Louis' goal is for believers everywhere to have a mission pathway for glorifying God and enjoying Him forever as they satisfy their heart's yearning of drawing closer to Him.
