Om Cheap Tricks
Forced to take leave from work in Peru, Sophie accepts a temporary position at Bergin Archaeology back in the United States, a favor from her old professor. She soon realizes she has neglected too many people since she pursued her career as an archaeologist, and it's nice to catch up with old friends in the Bluegrass State. The longer she stays home, the less she misses her broken pottery and dusty bones.
But one thing is for sure.
Deciding to stay in Kentucky has nothing to do with Neal Justice.
NOTHING.
Neal Justice has come a long way from the awkward med student who rarely went out. In fact, he's given up his lifelong dream of being a doctor completely. He's good with working at the mill and helping his brother plan his wedding. Maybe watching his niece and nephew on occasion. Fewer people die when he doesn't practice medicine. The last thing he expects is for Sophie Riddle to blow into his life with an accusing finger, a territorial attachment to spaghetti, and a reluctance to dance with him.
