Breathe... always

When Evergreen Stem School senior Fina Stefani, an award-winning jazz mezzo-soprano, meets a new senior on the first day of class, her world is knocked askew. There's something about green-eyed Tilley Jameson, the lesbian goth with a pitch-perfect alto voice, that threatens Fina's boyfriend Trevor Labowski. Once Fina discovers the Jameson family is a safe harbor from her stormy alcoholic mother, Summer Kobayashi, and she spends more and more time with them, Trevor threatens to expose that her new friend's family has magical powers. Fina must choose between her boyfriend and her new friend before an angry mob of witch hunters destroys the Jamesons and the other magicians in Seattle.
