Boots to Stilettos continues the story of Karah Woodard. Karah is determined to overcome all obstacles and live a productive, fulfilling life despite the odds. Her first book, Vengeance is Mine, details her struggle to overcome injustices and betrayal. Her childhood, love affairs, and an assault at the drill sergeant's academy consumed her thoughts. She realizes that this could become what she identifies as a web of destruction. This place limits your ability to move forward, thereby preventing you from maximizing your potential. She finds her peace through her unwavering relationship with her heavenly Father. However, in book two, kids will be kids, but oh my god, her children, now young adults, became a major challenge. She struggled to understand their behavior and figure out the limits of her role in their lives. Again she finds peace and avoids the web. After a trip to New York City, her childhood dreams are ignited. She always wanted to become a well-respected author. She wanted a glamorous social life and to meet the man of her dreams. Unfortunately, years of struggle had left her exhausted, and making her dreams a reality seemed unachievable. This, too, could become that web that prevents her from reaching her greatest potential.
