He became a born-again Christian on June 17th, 1976 at the age of eighteen, and was baptized in the Holy Spirit in July of 1981. A graduate of the Teen Challenge program, Tom went on to spend three years at Berean School of the Bible, the correspondence school of the Assemblies of God, and studied at the Zion Bible Institute in East Providence, R.I., and Bible Alive Ministries before being ordained July 27th, 2012. The Assistant Pastor at New Century Church, he is also the pastor of God's Billboard Ministry www.godsbillboard.us, and serves as a chaplain for the Christian Motorcyclist Association's Agape Riders chapter Winston NC.
