This collection of beautiful melodies includes 133 Irish, Scottish, Welsh, English and original tunes arranged with lead sheets and chords. Among them are the works of the famous harpist/composer Turlough O'Carolan, poet Thomas Moore, composers Patrick O'Neill, Thomas Connellan, Patrick Pearse, Roderick Morrison, Tomás O'Canainn, Robert Burns, Joanie Madden, John B. Dykes, Benjamin Franklin, Lady Nairne and others. Many more melodies are music session favorites gleaned from the vast collections of traditional tunes by Breandán Breathnach, Donal O'Sullivan, George Petrie, Francis O'Neill, Edward Bunting, P.W.Joyce, and Canon James Goodman. Several tunes are from airs for Irish Gaelic songs.
