Basic Discipleship

Foundations are very important to the durability and viability of a building. Foundations are not things that are obvious - you won't see them because they are mostly under the ground, substructures; they are things that undergird. But I can tell you, if you compromise on your foundation, it will eventually show up in your building later on. The purpose of this book is to help lay the right foundation for your walk and faith in Christ. For you to be a good disciple of Christ, you have to be grounded and rooted in the right foundations in Christ. So, I want you to pray that in this season, God will open your heart and you will receive knowledge and wisdom and you will apply it to your life. I want you to pray that the presence of the Holy Spirit will put these words deep in your heart and you will never forget them because we are beginning a journey that is going to last you for eternity and you must start well.
