Written In Plain Sight

With Written in Plain Sight, I'm once again asking myself some deep and probing questions. Every poem in this manuscript was created to motivate and inspire the greatness of the soul. I'm trying to push myself to confront my past and present demons. Some of them have originated from inside of me and others have been sent after me from outside forces. The hardest ones to deal with are the ones coming from the inside. This is why I pray and write and write and pray. Ask God for forgiveness and praise him for giving me so many chances to get my shit together. Besides the political observations and Conscious Commentary, Written in Plain Sight has a lot of facing the man in the mirror moments. Self-Love, Self-Respect, Self-Esteem, Self-Worth, Self-Reflection, Self-Awareness, Self-Motivation, Self-Acceptance, Self-Redemption, Self-Care, Self-Savior, Self-Examination, and Self-Abnegation are all touched on throughout this poetical biography. I didn't initially intend to go so far or so spiritually deep but when God wants you to bring it all out, you can't say no. Plus, I'm not sure if time is still on my side. I know that nobody knows the time and hour, but as I get older, I hold each second a lot more precious than I did when I was under 50. As always, I want to THANK everyone for showing up for me and giving me so much love and support. I will never forget it or take you for granted.
