Where Memories Were Made was written by a father who wanted to share the hunting memories he enjoyed with his sons, John and Joe. He also pays tribute to the many happy hours, days, and weeks that he spent with his friends and relatives hunting deer, elk, and antelope in Oregon.
Through a potpourri of hunting stories, he gives extraordinary glimpses of the closeness that he has with his sons and expresses his love for the outdoors and his feelings of responsibility for his family. Where Memories Were Made is about his life after Vietnam where as a veteran remembering the past he copes with the present.
