With the recent discovery of an old diary belonging to a young girl captured by Ho-Chunk Indians in 1827, retired postmaster Frank Meadows, his grandson Parker, and a group of professional Wisconsin researchers set out to uncover the truth behind the disappearance of a party of U.S. Army personnel, lost somewhere in the Great American Northwest Territory.
