After the events of Secrets of the Ink, the leader of the Dark Poem Darlings, Calliope, goes on a vacation to the beautiful land of Naples. However, a gang of criminal poets known as the Poetae invite him to a tournament in Paris, to see who will become the next member of the Poetae. But, only one will win.
Will Calliope become the next Poetae, or lose everything he has.
