Visions of a Certain Age

Visions of a Certain Age chronicles the highs and lows of growing older in today's America. The elderly segment of our society is large but largely misunderstood, widely diverse but narrowly stereotyped. Every day in many ways, seniors are victims of ageism, a prejudice that may be learned or systemic, but one that inevitably leads to dismissal of the elderly as burdens on society. Using graphic poetry, Visions of a Certain Age shows not only the physical, mental, and social situations they endure, but how they overcome them to lead positive, contributory lives
