Vidambanam

'Vidamabanam' is artist Srinivasan Natarajan's debut novel. In this work, the author attempts all possible forms of what we call a 'novel'. At the same time, with satire as his tool, he pokes fun at them too. A freedom given by that cruel satire of establishments makes for the novel's structure.
Writer Sukumaran praises the novel for using the freedom to the fullest extent. It satirises established values, aesthetics, history, and individual thought. It dethrones vote bank politics, art dialogues, caste pride, progressiveness and cultural pride. The novel is a criticism of everything around us.
